In a review of one of my earlier books, it was noted that the photographs in it could have been taken by several different photographers. I suspect this was not meant as a compliment! But different landscapes demand different approaches. The traditional modus operandi of the landscape photographer would be to find a location and return to it at different times of day – or year – to capture it.
