sunrays over fulking

Fulking, Perching and Edburton Hills are formed from Cretaceous chalk and roll down to meet the plateau beneath. Looming in the distance is Truleigh Hill that reaches 216 metres above sea level. The landscape below the hills is flat almost as far as the eye can see and is criss-crossed by fields. The hills are traversed by the South Downs Way National Trail as it runs west from Devils's Dyke.
