The wrapped willow looked spooky and extremely beautiful at the same time. Although wrapped willows are often eaten completely bare by the caterpillars of the ermine moths, they ultimately suffer no damage. In this particular case the willow was back in full leaf again after 6 weeks and the webs had almost completely disappeared. more
