Sunrise over Hon Ba Island, Vung Tau, VietnamBrian GraneyI’m currently living in Vung Tau, Vietnam, and enjoy getting up for the sunrise whenever I can. This shot was taken on 26 July 2017, just as the rainy season was getting underway and that can bring dramatic clouds. The island is called Hon Ba and contains a pagoda which pilgrims visit during low tide. The Jesus statue on the mountain is a replica of the one in Rio de Janeiro, and the orange hotel was abandoned some years ago and is a popular spot for wedding photographers.
