Bostagh Beach, Isle of LewisUrsula LawrenceSeptember 2017 I arranged a trip to the Isle of Lewis for myself and two Dutch friends. The forecast for sunset wasn’t good but we thought we’d give it a go as it was dry and Bostagh Beach was close to our cottage. This storm moved in front of the sunset and we split up. I went on to the headland to the east of the beach while my friends went to the headland to the west. I like the way the islands combine with the storm clouds to frame the sunlight sky so that it resembles an eye. Despite being a panoramic format it is a single image taken on a Pentax 645D with 55mm lens. F11 1/13s. more
