A few weeks ago I spent a few hours as a guest on Eric Bennett’s vlog, “Brews’n’Views”, the beer oriented chat show where the guests (that’s me) get to sit and chat about their favourite photographers and to talk about a few of their own pictures while in the company of a set of increasingly inebriated photographers (in this case, Matt Payne, Eric Bennett, James Rodewald, Mike DiMeola & Richard Martin).
My beer of choice was lightweight compared with the quadruple IPA oriented US contingent, but the Scottish “Fraoch” is such a wonderful, floral beer and harks back to a time when all Scottish ales were made of heather (before the English forced them to buy hops from them by making heather beer illegal). I had a fun time and it made me even more keen to get the large format camera out again.
