Welcome to On Landscape

Hello and welcome to On Landscape, the magazine for the enquiring landscape photographer. Produced in the Highlands of Scotland, we pride ourselves on creating an alternative view on landscape photography through writing about all of the things that surround our experiences rather than concentrating on the equipment and post-processing. That's not to say we don't include some articles on such topics but, just like in your own work, they should be part of a balanced approach to photography.

Over the last 170+ issues, we've covered a huge range of topics from philosophy to psychology, the history of art to a personal take on our own practice, from filter tests to geology and from optical design to conceptual art. Most of all though, we're dedicated to the life of a landscape photographer in all its forms.
