Mick Thurman
UK born and bred I am a light-hearted and inquisitive person by nature. I have been interested in photography since my mid-teens though my first forays were less than conventional - shooting still pictures and video of skydivers during my time in the Army. As a keen outdoors person I am fascinated by nature in all its forms, ferocity and frailties. I use digital media and the full spectrum of colour to capture the natural world around us. Not keen to spend hours at the computer I prefer less time post-processing and more time experimenting in-camera. I work a lot like a film photographer, taking my time with composition, using available light and pre-visualising the end image.
Joseph Smith
I am a self taught photographer from southern California. My focus for the last 8 years has been the textures and shapes found in the natural landscape. I believe this attraction has contributed to my love of B&W imagery. Being in the southwest US I spend most of my time photographing the arid landscapes of the local deserts and the Colorado Plateau, which has become one of my most favourite locations.
Jonny Bell
Jonny is a UK based self-taught Photographer and sustainable development professional. Happy outdoors and with a camera.
He has a passion for image making and experimentation, with a fascination with light, process, texture and form. He spends as much time as possible looking for ways to express a wonder at the world, and how we live alongside and within it. Ultimately trying to create imagery that communicates and compels.
Adam Pierzchala
Now retired, I have more time to enjoy being out with my camera looking for scenes and subjects that pique my interest, especially coastal, woodland and close-ups. Although I still have several rolls of 35mm and MF film in my freezer, I shoot almost exclusively digital now
